Nick and Brittany first met at seventeen. At the time, both were already in relationships, but they stayed friends. Life took them on separate paths, but they wound up reconnecting ten years later! This time, nothing could separate them! Two weeks before her thirtieth birthday, Nick decided to completely surprise Brittany and pop the big. Of course, she said yes! “I thought he was going to propose to me on our vacation to Montauk for my thirtieth birthday,” said Brittany “but he surprised me two weeks earlier! It was the best night.”
Brides to be can take notes from Brittany! Rather than get stressed out in the wedding planning process, she took her time and made it fun. Her favorite part was hunting for her dream dress. “I loved trying on all the different styles and feeling so beautiful!” Brittany trusted East Wind to give life to her vision of a dream wedding. “The whole process was so easy and you made my life so much easier.” Brittany later told East Wind.
Rose gold, champagne, and crystal accents decorated The Southampton Ballroom for their reception. The room was set with white linen tables and gold chivari chairs. An elegant dais was positioned in front of the guests, so the bride and groom could greet everyone like royalty! “We were so excited to share our dais table with our guests!” Brittany exclaimed. “I don’t think anyone expected it to be that grand!” With a maitre’d to ensure every detail was perfect and all their needs were met, Brittany and Nick could just relax and soak in the opulence. “We could not be happier with how the way the whole day and night went! It was amazing to see it all finally come together. ” Said the bride. “It was an absolute dream having our wedding at East Wind!”
Looking back, the couple described their first look as a moment that stopped time. Brittany shared “the stress and planning is ALL worth it the second you see your future husband for the very first time!”
Her advice to new couples planning to get married is “Enjoy every second and embrace everything! It way goes too fast. Take everything in… it will all be worth it in the end! It was the most amazing day of our lives.” Congratulations, Nick and Brittany!
