Super Ryan Fundraiser at East Wind

SUPERMAN, SUPER HUMAN, SUPER RYAN is what our Executive Chef Ryan’s 3 children call him as he battles his KRYPTONITE (aka Cancer)
But NO ONE FIGHTS ALONE! Join us and be a Super Hero too!
Since “food is the ingredient that binds us together”, this event will feature well known professional chefs and restaurateurs from Long Island to Las Vegas dedicating their culinary talents with active work stations for everyone to enjoy, including: Steve Gallagher, of The Trattoria in St. James, Steven Scalesse of Tullulah’s in Bay Shore, Chef Matthew Birnstill of The Quogue Club’s, John Bauer of Danford’s in Port Jefferson, Jim Liszanckie of Sunny’s Diner and Grill in Riverhead, Patrick Gaeta of North Fork Bacon & Smokehouse, Marc Lamaina of Lucharitos’s in Greenport, Eric Lomando of Kitchen A Bistro in Smithtown, Josh Eden of August in NYC, Peter Mangouranes of Good Life in Massapequa Park, Justin Scarfo of Ruggero’s in Wading River, John Louis, Maui Chop House in Rocky Point, James McDevitt, of Bohlsen Restaurant Group in Islip, Anthony D’Adamo of the Ritz Carlton Central Park NYC, Stephan Bogardus of Halyard in Greenport, Tom Schaudel of Jewel Restaurant in Melville, and food purveyors Prime Foods & Braun Seafood, all brought together by Ralph Perrazzo from BBD’s Las Vegas-Beers Burgers Desserts “I’m truly fortunate to have amazing friends in this industry who will always show support in time of need”. What better way to wash down delicious food…Five breweries will be on hand serving their signature brew, including Sand City Brewing Company of Northport, Barrier Brewing of Oceanside, Root & Branch in Copiague, Evil Twin in Ridgewood, and Grimm in Brooklyn.

Super Ryan’s Story:
In May 2018 Ryan was diagnosed with a rare form of Cancer, after undergoing grueling surgery and many medical treatments, things were looking positive until just recently he found out that the cancer returned and is now more aggressive, he underwent another major surgery and will have to go through 34 rounds of radiation/chemo. He is a loving father to 3 beautiful children, a kind husband, a great friend and amazing co-worker to many.
